DIGITAL PEDAGOGY

ZOOBOOK STORY MAP

The Zoobook Story Map was my first foray into making a Digital Humanities project. My partner and I collected data from Zoobooks at Carleton, which are essentially yearbooks, about students and where they are from. We then mapped this data using ArcGIS to explain the shift in admissions over the years, and looked into why these changes took place.

PRACTICUM

Practicum is an interactive web-based tool to teach introductory computer science topics. This was my COMPS, and it is currently being used in CS111 classes at Carleton. It allows professors to encode their thought process for solving a type of problem and teach students how to follow that thought process. Students can choose being Guided and Independent difficulty modes, and it helps them revise introductory concepts in an easy way.

JINDAL ELECTIVE REVIEWS

Jindal Elective Reviews is a website I built for my friend at Jindal Global University. It allows students to leave anonymous reviews on electives offered at the university. Administrators can add new electives easily by uploading a spreadsheet containing the appropriate columns. They can also moderate comments if they like.
